This rare squeezebag decorated Arequipa pottery has a striking color combination of a soft, medium blue body with gloppy glazing and an aquamarine upper portion above a wavy growth band separating the two with a pink leaf in squeezebag relief which repeats four times around the top of the vase. There is also an interesting glaze slip which resembles a white bird or dove in flight at its shoulder.
