Here are some of the images which were featured in a window exhibit and sale in the shop of Steven Lytwyn's remarkable photography. I think his work is special. I am so excited to be able to present it. I see Steven the photographer as philosopher/poet. There is a learned quiet to his work. He sees with a patient, studied, openness which imbues many of his photographs with a sense that there is a story or lesson there waiting to be seen. This exhibit (November 17th through December 25th, 2017) was the first time he offered his very popular photography for sale to the public.    "My name is Steven Lytwyn. I have been taking photographs for about 35 years. Recently it has become a more consuming passion. I don't know all of the technical jargon; to me it's primarily the eye. Big lenses and F-stops don't interest me as much as the end result. I usually listen to great rock music on my way out to take photos. This puts me in a kind of trance. I rely on my knowledge of the art world and I shoot from somewhere in my subconscious mind. I usually manipulate my photos; what I want is an otherworldly image. I try to achieve something that looks real, but is altered in a way that makes the viewer question reality. My aim is to twist your world and then make you question why we are here."

   (To those who have asked about framing: It is not advisable to ship framed pictures under glass. It can be done but it is costly.That's the main reason we are prepared to ship matted images which can be framed after travel. Second consideration: Some people would prefer to choose a frame more to their own liking. We can provide framing, basic black with UV glass, for local purchases at a very reasonable cost. $55 per smaller image; $65 for larger ones.)
